Ambassadors Excerpts from Chapter 9

The power of 'we" has always been the foundation of 85 Broads. As the network has grown from 1,000 members in the year 2000 to nearly 3,000 members in 2002, 5,000 members by 2004, and now over 7,000 members before the end of 2005, we all are discovering just how powerful the message of "we always say 'we" can become. Every single one of our members, in that sense, is an ambassador a strong, smart individual, an "I" who chooses to say, see, and live as a "we."

I genuinely believe that a nation's development begins with women's development. To raise girls to be leaders, you have to show them what it takes to be leaders.
